Out&About: First Road Trip with NK
I'm way behind schedule for this post hahaha
Right after exams, we went on a trip to Port Dickson ( PD ) since I had some extra free stay vouchers. We planned this trip waaaaay ahead of our finals. As if this trip is more important than finals hahahaah. ( Well, it almost is )
Most of NK was able to go and a few couldn't make it which was a bummer :( but it's okay, we'll have a second road trip! To Penang perhaps? ;)
Since I had only one free stay voucher which only permits a night stay, so we decided to crash Khai's place for a night since his place was on the way to Port Dickson as well.
We finished our exams at 4:30 but we all came out early haha because we all really bo sim to continue checking. ( I didn't bother re-checking my paper because i was too excited eeeek! ) By the time we were all ready, we left college at 4:30 and en route to Banting!
We reached around dawn and took a house tour at his house because it legit looked like a resort. You could jog a round in his compound and maybe lose an inch around your waist HAHA just kidding.
HIS HOUSE IS THE BEST FOR DAWN PHOTOSHOOT I SWEAR

The next morning, we woke up early in the morning and head to the market to buy fresh ingredients for our barbecue dinner at PD. I've never done this alone before hahaha I'm always only sous chef ( who disappears half the time ) to my dad so i weren't so sure what to get. Thank god for Khai's mum to help out with picking the freshest ingredients.
We head back to the house to nua + get ready to go out for brunch.

After the sun set, we head over to our BBQ pit to start cooking our dinner. Food was okaaaaay haha but i could do better. I will try again! ( if i have the chance lolll )
Brought out Ong's cake while he not aware. we got 3 slices of cakes from Secret Recipe in the afternoon when we went for last minute grocery shopping and dropped it off at the Resort's Cafe without Ong's knowledge
Sorry for the blurry pics hahah
Our neighbour was another group of people celebrating someone's birthday too. When they sang the Birthday song, we sang as well and when It was our turn to sing to ong, they sang along. Heheheh some people can be so nice. They even invited us over to share their firework ceremony. The more the merrier I suppose.
When we were barbecuing, someone from upstairs yelled " Anyeonghaseyo " to us hahaha probably thinking we're a bunch of koreans, so I yelled back Anyeonghaseyo and we all burst into laughter. Sometimes, the littlest of things can make one so happy. I was happy. Not because people think We're Korean but for the fact that we are all there together celebrating one special occasion.
The rest of the night was spent by talking , walking by the beach, Ripping each other's nametag off and they gambled in our apartment hahaha.
The next morning, Brenda, Ong and YongJiun wanted to go for a swim so we accompanied them downstairs and we went for a walk by the beach.

We took some polaroids before we left as souvenirs. Thanks to the nice lady who took all these for us. We appreciate it a lot. We know its frustrating hahaha.
All in all, thank you for making my college life more bearable. I will admit that things may sometimes be wobbly between us but the cheerful vibe that's in all of you never fail to make me laugh. Thank you for giving me something to look back on. Thank you for being in my book. We have done 2 semesters and 4 more to go. It may sound like a long long time before we graduate, but It is not. Before we know it we'll be wearing that navy robe. and We will part ways to continue our degree. So let's make the best out of the remaining days we have. For as long as fate let us we shall be in each other's lives.
Till I blog again, x
